Grilled Asian Salmon

Ingredients
  • 1½ - 2 pounds fresh thick salmon, deboned but skin on
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
Directions
  1. Get grill ready and heat on high to 500 degrees F.
  2. Cut salmon into 3 or 4 equal pieces.
  3. In a small bowl,
  4. whisk
  5. mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and garlic.
  6. brush
  7. half onto the top of the salmon.  Let sit for 15 minutes to marinade.
  8. Turn grill down to medium heat and place salmon skin side down on the grill.  Grill each side for 5 minutes using a
  9. Wide Spatula
  10. so the fish doesn't break up.
  11. Remove fish from grill and let rest for 10 minutes.
  12. Spoon remainder of marinade over the fish while it rests.
  13. Remove the skin and serve.
