I’m pretty picky about my BBQ sauce and don’t care for anything prepackaged. I love the sauce they serve at Shane’s Rib Shack but their recipe is a secret and I’m not very good at copy catting recipes so I whipped up this Southern Apple Cider Barbecue Sauce today and it was delicious and simple to make. I slathered it on some ribs and delish! My son and I both loved the sauce and the ribs so much so that I think I’ll be using the remainder of the sauce on some chicken tomorrow night. You can save this in an airtight container (I used a small pint sized mason jar) and refrigerate for up to two weeks. Best yet, it’s 0 SmartPoints!
