Fresh Tomato Salsa

  • 4 tomatoes, diced
  • ½ white onion, diced
  • ½ green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ fresh jalapeno, diced
  • ⅓ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  1. Put tomatoes, onion, green bell pepper, garlic, jalapeno, and cilantro into a food processor and pulse for ease in dicing. (or you can dice up manually)
  2. Put everything into the food processor to speed things up.[/caption]
  3. Stir tomatoes, onion, green bell pepper, garlic, jalapeno and cilantro together. To that, add lime juice, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper and stir.
  4. Simply mix together and you are done.[/caption]
  5. Refrigerate for about an hour before serving to blend flavors. Serve with fresh cut veggies to keep this at 0 WW PP, use as a dip for baked tortilla chips or use in your favorite recipe!
You can serve this immediately but leaving it in the refrigerator for an hour will help blend the flavors.
